The author(s) should keep the following points in mind when they are writing the research papers/ manuscripts for ‘Research Communications’:
The following information should be provided by author and co-authors during the online submission of the manuscript –
Title of the paper, abstract, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), and email addresses for correspondence.
Language: The manuscript will be in English for Science, Mathematics and Computer Science & in Hindi / English for Humanities, Commerce and Law.
Length of paper: The paper should be at most 12 pages (including abstract, references, tables & diagrams).
Style: Articles should be typed in single space (single preferences); the font should be ‘Times New Roman’, 12 points (for English) and Arial Unicode MS, 14 points (for Hindi).
Title: Use bold, 14 points (at a maximum of 30 words). List the author’s and co authors’ affiliation (Department, Institution/ University, City, Country, email ID) in 12 points.
Abstract: A concise and factual abstract is required (maximum length of 250 words).
Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 8 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, ‘and’, ‘of’).
Headings: Indicate the level of the section headings in your research paper/ article.
First-level headings (e.g. Introduction, Conclusion) should be in bold, with an initial capital letter for proper nouns.
Second-level headings should be in bold italics, with an initial capital letter for proper nouns.
Third-level headings should be in italics, with an initial capital letter for proper nouns.
Fourth-level headings should also be in italics at the beginning of a paragraph. The text follows immediately after a full stop or other punctuation marks.
Tables and Figures: All tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals (e.g. Table I, Figure I) in the order of appearance in the text. The tables and figures must be self-contained with a descriptive title. Column heading of tables and figures should be brief and placed at the bottom of the tables and
above figures. Ensure you have permission to use any figures you reproduce from another source.
References: Author(s) should follow the latest edition of APA style in referencing. Please visit www.apastyle.org to learn more about the APA style.
Reference List: References should be arranged alphabetically and sorted chronologically. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters “a”, “b”, “c”, etc., placed after the year of publication.
